I take giving back to the community (locally and globally) seriously.  At least 25% of my work-week is dedicated to pro bono and barter projects as well as volunteer sustainability leadership activities.

* I serve as the Chairperson of the Sustainability Commission for the newest city in the United States, plus as a founding member/executive member of the Board of Directors for the first community garden in this 42,000-citizen city just outside Atlanta, GA, USA.  Here is our social networking site.

* I provide writing services as a barter arrangement with sustainability-focused companies such as Farmer D Organics.  Here is the latest marketing piece I wrote for Farmer D.

* I donate time, money and writing services to sustainability-oriented non-profit agencies.

* I actively search out writing assignments that spread the word about triple-bottom-line sustainability.

* I am particularly interested in indigenous cultures, refugee survival strategies, micro-credit's impact on the world's women, food security, Fair Trade, producer responsibility, post-peak oil planning, the development of eco-literacy in our younger generations, and the transfer of knowledge from our older generations.

I am interested in consultant relationships with organizations, corporate foundations, and publications that focus on initiatives such as these.
